Duct Installer
Location: West Monroe, LA
Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per Hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 8- to 12-Hour Workdays
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install sheet metal ductwork, flex duct, duct board, and duct pipe.
- Read and use a tape measure accurately to ensure precise installations.
- Prepare materials and equipment for job site installations.
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of HVAC duct systems.
- Secure and connect duct components according to project specifications.
- Safely operate hand and power tools.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on job sites.
- Follow all company safety policies and job site regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Comfortable working in hot, dusty, and outdoor environments.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and maneuver in confined spaces.
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle construction materials as needed.
- Willingness to travel locally to various job sites.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
- Experience with HVAC installation, ductwork, construction, sheet metal, or mechanical work is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
