Job Opening: Formulation Technician
Description
Now hiring! Temp to hire Formulation Tech for a great company in S. Baton Rouge.
Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm, $19.00 to start.
Must be a team player, have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to interpret experimental results, be neat, organized, extremely detail oriented, and must work well with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Perform varied tasks-formulation, testing, reverse formulation, & development
- Prepare paperwork for formula submissions & document specifications
- Perform and monitor stability testing on R&D batches. Evaluate formulation results
- Maintain detailed, organized records
- Submit requests, test, and release new raw material samples
Skills Required:
- Record and document critical batch process documents
- Attention to accuracy
- Familiar with measurement scales, mixing, blending, chemical mills
- Follow established formulas to create laboratory batches.
- Observe, record, investigate, duplicate and validate successful procedures.
