Direct Hire | $18/hr | In-Person

A manufacturing shop in Bunkie is looking for a skilled Painter with experience in automotive-style or industrial finishes. If you take pride in clean lines, smooth coats, and precise detail work, this role offers steady hours and long-term stability.

Work Schedule

Monday: 7:00–4:00
Tuesday–Thursday: 7:00–4:30
Friday: 7:00–12:00

Role Overview

You’ll handle the full finishing process—from surface prep to final inspection—on aluminum, metal, and plastic components. This position requires accuracy, consistency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving production environment.

Primary Duties

Surface Prep — sanding, masking, and priming parts
Precision Spraying — mix, match, and apply paint using spray equipment
Spec Compliance — follow detailed paint instructions and finish standards
Quality Review — identify imperfections and correct them
Filler Application — apply and shape bondo when needed

What You Bring

Automotive or industrial paint experience
Ability to paint aluminum, metal, and plastic substrates
Strong attention to detail and finish quality
Ability to work independently and maintain productivity
