Field Operations Supervisor – Alexandria, LA

We’re looking for an experienced outdoors man or fisherman to lead our field crews on local lakes and waterways. If you’re comfortable running boats, navigating with GPS, and leading a team, this could be a great fit.
Pay
- $18/hour during paid training
- $22/hour after certification
- Part-time: 2–3 days per week
What You’ll Do
- Lead a crew of 6–10 employees on daily field operations.
- Coordinate 3–4 work boats on Louisiana lakes and waterways.
- Navigate using GPS and maintain daily routes.
- Communicate with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries (LDWF) regarding operations and schedules.
- Operate or supervise aquatic vegetation treatment projects.
- Ensure safe and efficient operations on the water.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience fishing, boating, or working on the water.
- Is comfortable operating boats and reading GPS.
- Can lead a crew and make good decisions in the field.
- Has strong communication and organizational skills.
- Enjoys working outdoors in all types of weather.
- Has a valid driver’s license (preferred).
Physical Requirements
- Work from a boat for up to 8 hours.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work in heat, humidity, cold, wind, and other outdoor conditions.
