Schedule of the Inventory Coordinator:
Monday – Friday
8am – 5pm
$26 – $31 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Stock Tracking: Monitor daily inventory levels and update database records using management software.
- Auditing: Conduct regular physical counts and cycle counts to reconcile any discrepancies.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with shipping, receiving, and procurement teams to manage incoming and outgoing shipments smoothly.
- Reporting: Generate periodic reports on stock status, slow-moving items, and supply trends for management
- Receiving: Physically receive incoming material, verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Put-away: Move received material to its designated storage location promptly and accurately.
- Discrepancy reporting: Notify the Purchasing department of short shipments, overages, or damaged goods so the vendor can be contacted and the issue resolved.
- System entry: Record all receiving transactions in the company’s ERP/inventory software in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stock room management: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficiently arranged stock room, including proper labeling, and support inventory accuracy.
Typical Education and Relevant Experience:
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of work experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory control.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in database systems like WMS or ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
