Underwriter – Personal Lines | Alexandria, LA
Pay: $40,000–$55,000/year DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8am-5pm
Employment Type: Direct hire with company

A local insurance office in Alexandria, LA is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Underwriter to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with strong retail personal lines experience and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
What You’ll Do

Review and evaluate applications for personal lines coverage

Assess risk and determine appropriate policy terms

Work closely with agents, clients, and internal teams

Maintain accurate documentation and underwriting files

Support overall office operations and customer service needs
What We’re Looking For

Personal lines underwriting experience (retail preferred)
