Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Alexandria, LA
Pay: $25/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–4:30 PM
A well-established Alexandria equipment service company is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Mechanic with strong knowledge of heavy equipment, diesel systems, and hydraulic components. This role is hands-on and requires technical skill, accuracy, and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Equipment Diagnostics — identify issues in engines, hydraulics, power trains, electrical systems, and related components

Hydraulic & Diesel Repair — perform repairs, adjustments, and system maintenance

Component Removal & Installation — remove, replace, and reinstall major parts and assemblies

Preventative Maintenance — complete routine service to extend equipment life and prevent breakdowns

Work Order Management — create, update, and track repair orders in company software

Customer Communication — clearly explain repair needs, options, and timelines
