Manufacturing Technician
Location: Alexandria, LA
Pay: $17/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
A local Alexandria company is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support daily production and assembly operations in a clean, climate-controlled facility. This role is hands-on and requires strong focus, consistency, and commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly Tasks — assembling components using basic hand tools and following established specifications
- Production Workflow Support — assisting with daily manufacturing processes to maintain steady output
- Quality Checks — inspecting parts and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards
- Safety Compliance — following all safety rules, PPE requirements, and operational procedures
- Workstation Organization — maintaining clean, organized, production-ready work areas
Requirements
- Prior manufacturing or assembly experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and dependable work habits
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
