Duct Installer
Location: West Monroe, LA
Pay Rate: $12.00 – $15.00 per Hour (DOE)
Schedule: 8- to 12-Hour Workdays
Job Responsibilities
- Read and accurately use a tape measure.
- Lay out fittings and ductwork, including locating and marking dimensions and reference lines on sheet metal, duct board, flex duct, and duct pipe.
- Install and assemble duct systems according to project specifications.
- Set up and operate soldering and welding equipment to join copper tubing.
- Assist with fabrication and installation of HVAC duct components.
- Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Comfortable working in hot environments and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined or tight spaces when needed.
- Willingness to travel locally as required (travel time is compensated).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Previous duct installation, HVAC, construction, or related experience is preferred.
