Patient Support Specialist – Burlington, VT
Location: On-site, Burlington, VT
Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Week Contract | M-F 8am-5pm
Pay: $22/hour
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Patient Support Specialist to help keep daily operations running smoothly across two clinical facilities. This role is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, multitasks well, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming phone calls and route inquiries professionally
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate provider availability
- Process referrals with accuracy and timely follow-through
- Scan, upload, and organize patient documentation in the electronic system
- Maintain consistent communication with the Administrative Assistant Supervisor regarding questions, issues, or follow-up needs
- Float between two clinical locations to support front-office operations as needed
Qualifications
- Strong administrative or front-desk experience; healthcare experience preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer-service skills
- Accurate scheduling and documentation abilities
- Comfortable working independently and transitioning between facilities
- Reliable, detail-focused, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
