Onsite Billing & Coding Specialist – Alexandria, LA
Location: Alexandria, LA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $17/hour
A local company in Alexandria is seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Coding Specialist for a full-time, onsite position. This role requires accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process Inpatient Claims on UB-04s and IOP claims on 1500s
- Complete Billing & Coding Tasks with accuracy
- Perform Data Entry and maintain documentation
- Follow Up on Claims to ensure timely resolution
- Handle Customer Service Calls with professionalism
- Adapt to New Tasks as needed
Requirements
- 1+ year of billing or coding experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Solid communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
