Westaff is Hiring for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician in Shelton, CT!

 

Schedule: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Pay: $26–$30/hr, based on experience

 

Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Perform facility repairs, maintenance, and required documentation
• Repair leaking/clogged pipes, air lines, electrical and lighting fixtures
• Complete light welding and carpentry tasks
• Support seasonal grounds work, including snow removal
• Maintain and install equipment: compressors, HVAC, elevators, lifts, exhaust units
• Maintain production equipment: tow motors, grinders, dust collectors, wrap machines, hoists
• Maintain company vehicles
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance
• Work occasional overtime and holidays as needed
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance

Maintenance Qualifications:

• 8+ years of maintenance experience
• Welding, boiler repair, electronics, or auto repair certifications a plus
• Valid CT driver’s license required
• Ability to read blueprints, SOPs, and troubleshoot issues
• Strong math skills and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of auto mechanics and ability to operate a plow truck
• Comfortable working at heights and using testing equipment
• OSHA 10, LOTO, confined space, fall protection, CPR, and forklift experience preferred
