Warehouse Associate (Industrial Paint Warehouse)

Pay: $18 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join our industrial paint warehouse team. This role is responsible for handling, storing, and distributing paint products and related materials while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience working with warehouse operations and/or hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments of industrial paint and materials
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Maintain proper storage and labeling of paints, coatings, and chemicals
• Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company procedures for handling hazardous materials
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock rotation (FIFO)
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely
• Support paint mixing/tinting processes (training provided if applicable)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred (industrial or chemical environment a plus)
• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work with regulated materials

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to work in warehouse conditions, including varying temperatures and exposure to paint and chemical odors

Work Environment

This position operates in an industrial warehouse with exposure to paints, solvents, and coatings. Employees are required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
