1St Shift TIG Welder
Location: Essex Jct., VT
We’re hiring a detail-focused TIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll weld parts and subassemblies using TIG and MIG methods while following precise blueprint specifications.
Pay: $23.50 – $34.00/hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Set up welds using jigs, fixtures, and blueprints
- Weld components using TIG and MIG equipment
- Adjust equipment (amperage, wire feed) as needed
- Troubleshoot issues to keep production running smoothly
- Use hand and power tools (grinders, drills, spot welders, etc.)
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Assist other departments as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to workplace safety
