Inpatient Billing Specialist – Alexandria, LA
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Inpatient Billing Specialist to join our team in Alexandria, LA. This full-time role is Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM with $17/hr starting pay.
Responsibilities
- Process inpatient claims on UB-04s and IOP claims on 1500s
- Perform accurate billing, data entry, and claim follow-up
- Handle customer service calls with professionalism
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new or additional tasks as needed
Requirements
- 1+ year of billing experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Solid communication and customer service skills
