Paralegal – Personal Injury Experience Required

Location: Alexandria, LA Schedule:

Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
No weekends

Compensation: $15–$18 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
Conduct legal and factual research
Manage case files, deadlines, and calendars
Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and depositions
Handle e-filing and physical filing with courts and agencies
Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel
Summarize medical records, discovery responses, and depositions
Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold ethical standards
Perform additional substantive paralegal duties as needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury or a litigation-focused practice
Strong understanding of legal procedures, terminology, and court rules
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general office technology
