Job Opening: 1st or 2nd Shift Machine Operator
Description
The Shop Operator is responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to produce parts that meet quality and production standards. This role includes loading materials, monitoring machine performance, inspecting finished parts, and making basic adjustments as needed. The operator ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities: Operate machines Load raw materials and unload finished parts Monitor machine operation and perform basic adjustments Read blueprints, work instructions, and specifications Measure and inspect parts for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow company safety procedures and production schedules
Work Environment: Manufacturing or machine shop setting Standing for extended periods Exposure to machinery, noise, and metal materials
1st Shift: 8AM-4:30PM; $17/hr
2nd Shift: 2PM-10:30PM; $18/hr
Ability to read a tape measure and a ruler
