Job Opening: 1st Shift Machine Operator
Description
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce parts that meet quality and production standards. This role includes loading materials, monitoring machine performance, inspecting finished parts, and making basic adjustments as needed. The operator ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC machines such as mills or lathes Load raw materials and unload finished parts Monitor machine operation and perform basic adjustments Read blueprints, work instructions, and specifications Measure and inspect parts for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow company safety procedures and production schedules
Work Environment: Manufacturing or machine shop settingStanding for extended periodsExposure to machinery, noise, and metal materials
Ability to read tape measure to 16th of an inch
