Pay: $31.68/hr

Schedule: Variable shifts; weekend and some holiday work required

Position Overview

The Electrician A will work in a plywood mill environment performing advanced electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role requires strong technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems and the ability to work safely and independently in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Allen-Bradley PLCs

• Diagnose and replace electric motors

• Work with chart recorders, Honeywell controllers, MTS Temposonics, and transformers of various sizes

• Interpret and work from electrical blueprints and relay logic systems

• Use Windows-based programs including Windows Explorer and RSLogix

• Perform electrical maintenance in a high-production wood products environment

Basic Qualifications

• Full understanding of electrical testing tools: multi-meters, wiggies, meggers, amprobes, temperature meters, servo drivers

• Strong knowledge of shop math and blueprint reading

• Experience with relay logic, circuit breakers, starters, and industrial electrical systems

• Competent with Windows-based computer programs and RSLogix

• Minimum 2 years electrical experience in a manufacturing environment (wood products experience a plus)

• Vocational/technical school diploma in electricity/electronics preferred

• High school diploma or GED required
