Schedule of the Accounting Clerk:
Monday – Friday
9am – 5pm
$20.00 – $24.00 DOE
Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:

- Process sales invoices and credits.
- Proactive collection activities as needed.
- Work with customer Accounts Payable contacts to clean up / correct balances and expedite payments.
- Process purchase order invoices, vouchers and supplier payments.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure proper paperwork trail, payment authorizations and processing of packing slips.
- Run daily activity report.
- Process remote deposits of customer payments.
- Prepare positive pay file and initiate wire transfers.
- Greet visitors and assist with sign-ins and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) distribution.
- Answer inbound phone calls.
- Process inbound and outbound mail.
- Maintain office supply inventory and restock as needed.
- Comply with corporate and site policies and procedure
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable Clerk.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to work at computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in an office environment with regular need to interact with co-workers in the manufacturing area of the facility.
- Effectively prioritize tasks.
- Work individually to support team and department success.
- Experience with computer-based accounting and manufacturing systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Strong organization skills with ability to multitask.
