Tool Cutter/Grinder Operator needed for Manufacturer in Hamden, CT!
Pay: $19-$30,hr based on experience
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
The Cutter/ Grinder Operator will be responsible for:
- Responsible for sharpening various types of milling cutters, drills, taps or turning tools as required.
- Manufacturing special form relieved cutters, and maintaining inventory of cutter grinding supplies.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Maintains quality standards and records quality results.
Cutter/ Grinder Operator Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 1-3 years experience in grinder, cutting, or machine operating
- Experience with manual grinding, blueprint reading, micrometers/calipers, optical comparator
- leadership experience to help facilitate work culture in the shop
