Equipment Operator — Alexandria, LA
Full Time | Mon–Fri, 8AM–5PM | $18/hr | Direct Hire
We’re hiring a dependable Equipment Operator with solid mechanical skills. You’ll operate forklifts, skid steers, and front-end loaders, move materials, and handle basic equipment maintenance. Must be safety-minded and comfortable working at heights. Barge-unloading experience is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts, skid steers & loaders
• Load/unload and move materials
• Assist with barge unloading
• Perform basic mechanical work & inspections
• Follow all safety procedures
• Report issues immediately
Requirements
• Heavy equipment operating experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable working at heights
• Able to work outdoors & lift 50 lbs
