Job Description:

• Review all maintenance work requests to determine what is needed to fix the equipment. Communicate with supervision on priorities and approach to ensure the equipment that production needs most is tended to first.
• Maintenance record for all work performed to allow it to become useful data for analysis and reporting
• Record cause of breakdowns and labor needed to perform repair
• Diagnose and Identify complex problems through troubleshooting related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and PLC system Machinery and coordinating repairs
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and suppliers.
• Find a balance between not giving up on problem and having equipment down for too long and calling others for support (technical support, coworkers, suppliers) with the goal to keep downtime to minimum and make equipment reliable
• Execute preventive maintenance work orders that are scheduled with production
• Plan the time and material needed for the job to minimize downtime
• Clean and replace components of machinery as needed and defined in the preventive maintenance strategy
• Give feedback to improve the preventive maintenance program

• 5 or more years of experience in equipment maintenance
• Machine repair certificates, licenses preferred
• Certificates and courses for mechanical, electrical, electronic, PLC logic, hydraulics and pneumatics are preferred
• Machining background required
• Ability and experience to troubleshoot complex machine problems based on input from operators, technical manuals and alarm codes
• Knowledge of CNC equipment repair and maintenance
