Westaff has been retained by West Mont to manage the search for its CEO/President. This full-time position is in West Mont’s Helena, MT office. Office hours are 8am – 4pm.
Salary: $110,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience.
Benefits Include: 401(k) contribution & match, Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance (Basic & Voluntary), Supplemental Insurances (Short-Term Disability, Accident, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness) and Vacation/Sick Leave.

Position Overview:
- The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the overall operation and strategic plan of West Mont.
- The CEO is the management leader for West Mont and reports to the governing Board of Directors.
- This position leads the organization in a manner that supports and guides the organization’s mission. The CEO is the spokesperson for West Mont and builds relationships with consumers, the public, media, government, and other stakeholders.
- The CEO leads a dynamic group of professionals to accomplish critical mission of West Mont and the clients and community it serves.
- Serve as an effective leader with passion, vision, and action plans.
- Act as a recognized, respected advocate and spend a significant amount of time in the community with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
- Ideally 3 years’ experience in similar position or executive team position; 5 years preferred.
- Experience with personnel supervision, budget development, leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making.
- Fundraising experience, including grant writing and management, preferred.
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization and with Boards of Directors preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Social services industry knowledge
- Ability to develop vision, goals, and action plans for the future of West Mont
- Management / Administrative Experience.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
- Proven Leadership, Negotiation, and Critical Thinking Skills
- Knowledge of Federal Funding Sources and Government Grants.
- Business Acumen.
