Westaff is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector for a Manufacturer in Shelton!

Pay: $22-24 based on experience + .50 shift differential 

Hours: 24/7 Rotating Night Shift 7pm to 7am

The Quality Assurance Inspector Responsibilities are: 

• Inspects finished or in-process products against standards using simple measuring tools and equipment for acceptance or rejection.
• Assures compliance with regards to line clearance, raw materials, in-process inspection, manufacturing, and housekeeping.
• Audits reports, forms, records and comparable data to ensure compliance to procedures and requirements.
• Uses basic math skills, including decimals and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules and computer input devices (scales, micrometers, calipers, gradient cylinder, force gauges, mag mic). 
• Additional duties as assigned.

The Quality Inspector Requirements are: 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with minimum 1 year of experience in quality inspection.
• Ability to understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Must be able to read micrometers and calipers, digital force gauge. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
