Evaluates daily production to determine quality compliance results (referred to as "patrol checks"); informs production leadership of non-compliance issues and initiates NG (No Good part) documentation to trigger corrective action process with Production Team Leader 2. Ensures accurate count of incoming raw material through physical count 3. Counts and sorts in-process and finished product to identify rework requirements and scrap and documents results, accordingly 4. Calibrates and maintains measuring devices (gauges); performs gauge capability studies; maintains inspection equipment in quality lab 5. Conducts qualitative tests (hardness checks, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), Contracer, Surface Tester, etc.) as required by established inspection standards 6. Maintains product traceability throughout the production process and with suspended and rework material by evaluating lots by date on a FIFO (first in; first out) basis

Responsible for assisting the Slitter Operator in set-up, loading, adjusting, operation and unloading the slitter in a manner which will produce a quality on-time product with the utmost efficiency. ? Assists in maintaining accuracy and traceability throughout customer order. ? Assists in maintaining customer specifications throughout customer order. ? Maintains accuracy of product weighing. ? Palletizes material to customer specifications. ? Cuts up and properly identifies rework. ? Maintains proper safety and housekeeping practices at all times. ? May act as operator in his/her absence. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
