POSITION OVERVIEW: This position will assist in the activities of maintenance, repairs, and installation of all items of general makeup using two or more technical maintenance skills in compliance with applicable codes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain required repair logs on all equipment maintained per federal, state, and company requirements.

2. Make use of a pro-active approach to problem resolution by using preventative maintenance techniques.

3. Drive and maintain forklifts, man lifts, and pick-ups.

4. Utilize welding and cutting torch to complete projects. 5. Utilize hand tools and power tools and other special equipment to complete projects.

6. Assist in the installation and maintenance for all buildings, grounds, and machinery

 7. Analyze down equipment and specify repair parts to be ordered.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to work in above average temperatures (100+ degrees).

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate with drivers and operation manager in routine and preventative maintenance needs related to company-owned and leased equipment in accordance with company and DOT requirements for all locations.
• Assisting in the procurement of future equipment purchases.
• Set up and maintain equipment/ truck files, records, licenses (Vehicle registration and K-Tags), annual inspections, warranties, and service agreements.
• Assist in set up and maintain Telematics system, track the quality of company property throughout the product life cycle.
• Audit Fuel Card Transaction and maintain daily reporting on company owned fuel tank.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Utilizes Parflange, Deburring tool, Rotary saw, Hose Crimpers, Tape Measures, and various other hand tools to create tubing, hoses sub-assemblies per customer specification.
2. Utilizes build instructions and testing reports to document product conformity.
3. Maintain the production schedule in conjunction with the production coordinator.
4. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the lead and or supervisor.
5. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
6. Performs prescribed preventive maintenance on machines as required.
7. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
