• 7:00pm-3:30am 

Pay Rate: $15/hour Weekly Pay! 

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

The General Helper will support the production operations by aiding in the physical processes involved with manufacturing our products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Observe product, inspect for foreign materials and conformity to specifications and reports any discrepancies to supervisor
• Comply with all safety, occupational, food safety, and sanitation requirements to include utilization of required safety equipment
• Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT: 

• May be required to push, pull, lift /carry up to 50lbs on a continual basis
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to work in both cold and hot environments for prolonged periods of time
• This position requires the ability to withstand working in a cold environment and stand for extended periods of time.
• Company provided Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) must be worn while on the production floor

Location: Warwick RI 
Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm 
Pay Rate: $19-$21/hour DOE 

This role is responsible for following up on a high volume of purchase orders. They will record order confirmations and status, follow up on and resolve issues with purchase orders, and act as a liaison between our outside vendors and our internal Sales and Customer Service Teams.

Responsibilities:

•    Adequately and efficiently process and record a high volume of emailed order confirmations, estimated ship dates and tracking of purchase orders
•    Answer inbound phone calls from vendors and suppliers
•    Research and resolve issues with open purchase orders
•    Follow up with vendors and suppliers on purchase orders to supply payment, obtain status, request invoices, and confirm product deliveries
•    Develop, foster, and maintain excellent relationships with vendors and suppliers
•    Accurately and effectively communicate with internal sales teams regarding status of or issues with purchase orders
•    Perform other miscellaneous tasks and projects assigned by the Purchasing Manager
 
Requirements:

•    1-3 years of purchasing experience
•    Previous purchasing experience in healthcare industry a plus
•    Excellent grammar, verbal, written, and data entry skills
•    Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
•    Knowledgeable in A+ and Salesforce software a plus

Westaff is seeking an experienced Assembler Line Lead in the North Kingstown, RI area for IMMEDIATE hire.

Hours: 5am - 4pm (Mon-Thurs)
Pay: $26 an hour

Job Description:

- Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, output and on-time delivery targets
- Identify material/capacity constraints and resolve issues, including chasing material shortages, expediting and prioritizing functions (receiving, inspection, mfg. engineering, etc.) and escalating issues
- Ensure all components being used are to the BOM. Verify that the printed labels are correct.
- Ensure that ERP transactions are completed to reflect physical material movement
- Achieve cycle count accuracy goals
- Ensure production activities are completed in accordance with design and process documentation
- Lead daily production meeting and assist with creating and publishing daily/weekly/monthly metrics
- Assist with training and coaching of production workforce
- Use data and continuous improvement tools to resolve internal and external corrective actions
- Assist engineering with Proto-types and special projects for new development of product lines

Qualifications:

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Inventory Management software (Mapics experience a plus)
- Demonstrate the ability to lead by example, to provide guidance, mentoring to peers and to promote team work.
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1-3 years experience with PCB Soldering and Confrormal Coating Machines

Location: Fall River, MA

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am-3:30pm

Responsible for pulling, inspecting, and preparing orders for shipment. Applicants MUST have reach truck experience!

Responsibilities
- Execute all aspects of the pick-and-ship process for freight and small parcel orders
- Accurately pick customer orders according to pick lists
- Inspect products pulled by other order pickers
- Wrap pallets and load trucks for shipment
- Operate reach truck, forklift, and pallet jack
- Use handheld scanners for all transactions

Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of reach truck and forklift operation experience (REQUIRED)
- 1–3 years of domestic and international shipping experience
- High accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
