Temporary Contract Forklift Position in the Rotterdam Area

1st Shift position M-F $21 per hour

Must Haves:

- Forklift Certification

- Experience using a Side-By-Side double sit down forklift to reach, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products in a distribution center.

Join our Shipping & Receiving team and use your knowledge to ensure your properly receive incoming material; maintain accurate accountability of receiving, additions and deletions for materials from the record. prepare product for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements. Transport material internally. Execute standard procedures and assist Logistics Team to fulfill tasks on time, every time. Provide ideas on how to improve processes in a strong continuous improvement environment. Assist to build a best-in-class service culture by driving positive Customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

1+ years of experience in shipping and/or receiving 

Ability to regularly life and/or move up to twenty-five pounds, frequently life and/or move up to fifty pounds

The ability to work in a fast paced environment

Experience using an RF scanner

They manufacture 400 Hz AC ground power assemblies, 28 Volt DC ground power assemblies for use in the ground support of aircraft in both the commercial and military markets. Their products support mainline aircraft, regional aircraft, turbo props, business jets, and military aircraft.

Job Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring     accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments,  including tracking and reporting discrepancies.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing slips.
• Work closely with various customers and ship items to their specifications
• Other duties as assigned

SHIFT:
• 8AM-4PM

PAY:
• $18

REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 2 years shipping and receiving experience
• Willingness to be cross trained in all areas of factory
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Able to work in non-temperature controlled environment

We are looking for someone with both Material Handlers and Warehouse Clerks. Both positions require 1 year of previous material handing or pick and pack experience while the clerk position also requires computer skills and excel experience. 

Job Requirements:

What you’ll do on a typical day:  

 Material Handlers:

• Pick, ticket,  and label parts
• Unload and load trucks
• Shipping and receiving

Clerks-all of the above plus:

• Process -orders and maintain inventory into a Warehouse Management System (WMS)  
• Perform data entry tasks  
• Research and correct transaction errors   
• Handle domestic and international shipping documents  

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm or 1:30pm-10pm

Pay rate:

• $19 for Material Handlers
• $20 for Clerks
• $1 more per hour for second shift

At a minimum, you'll need:  

• 1 year of warehouse experience  
• Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English  
• Clerks also need basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments 

It'd be great if you also have:  

• Experience entering and maintaining information in a WMS 
• High school diploma or equivalent

What Would You be Doing?
Your job duties as a Sorter/Packer may include but are not limited to...

• Provides support for the operation team by working safely to feed material into machines
• Inspect product for defects and pack finished goods in correct configuration.
• Notifies Supervisor of quality issues as they arise.
• Makes minor machine adjustments to minimize interruptions and ensure quality product.
• Maintains good housekeeping practices, able to work safely in a fast paced environment.

When Will You be Working?
12 hour shifts- 6pm-6am or 6am-6pm

Requirements!
