CPA-Tax Preparer duties (But not limited to): 

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team, prioritize assignments, manage multiple projects, and meet al deadlines.
  • Require understanding of current tax laws.
  • Tax returns-Preparation/and potentially review of returns, for Individual, Corporate, Partnership & Fiduciary.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Understanding of general ledger accounting.

PRESS OPERATOR DUTIES:

A slitting operator, or slitter operator, is a factory worker who operates machinery to cut large rolls of material like paper, cardboard into narrower strips or "slats" of a specific width and length. 

Key responsibilities include setting up and running the slitting machine, loading raw materials, ensuring cuts meet exact specifications, performing quality checks, performing basic maintenance, and documenting production records. The role often involves on-the-job training and the use of heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: 

Safely setting up and operating slitting machines to cut materials into specified sizes. 

  • Material Handling: 

Loading large rolls of raw materials onto the machine, aligning them properly, and handling finished products. 

  • Quality Control: 

Inspecting the finished product to ensure it meets the required specifications and tolerances. 

  • Maintenance & Documentation: 

Performing routine maintenance, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting of the equipment.

 Cutter/MBO Folder Operator DUTIES:

A Cutter/MBO Folder Operator sets up, operates, and maintains bindery machinery like Polar cutters and MBO folders to finish printed products accurately and efficiently. 

Key responsibilities include reading job tickets, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, performing quality checks, and ensuring finished materials meet production standards for cutting, folding, trimming, and packaging. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: 

Set up and operate MBO folding machines and Polar cutters according to job specifications and safety protocols. 

  • Job Setup: 

Read and interpret job jackets, layouts, and other instructions to prepare the machinery for each job, which may involve adjusting fold plates, slitting, and changing blades. 

  • Quality Control: 

Monitor the folding and cutting process to ensure the finished products meet quality standards for accuracy and consistency. 

  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: 

Perform routine maintenance, identify and resolve mechanical issues, and ensure equipment is in good working order. 

  • Material Handling: 

Prepare raw materials for the machines and correctly stack or package finished goods for subsequent processes or delivery. 

  • Collaboration: 

Work with other bindery staff, press operators, and supervisors to maintain workflow efficiency and meet production deadlines. 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Technical Aptitude: 

Mechanical inclination and the ability to understand complex machinery. 

  • Attention to Detail: 

A meticulous approach to reading instructions and ensuring precise measurements. 

  • Problem-Solving: 

The ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions on bindery equipment. 

  • Physical Stamina:

           2nd 7pm-7am 

PRESS OPERATOR DUTIES: Must have these skill sets to qualify. 

  • Set up & adjust KBA (Koenig & Bauer) /Komori presses for job runs to meet specifications.
  • MUST have experience on the KBA (Koenig & Bauer) Komori press machines.
  • Preform document review to ensure job requirements are known and understood
  • Monitor product quality during production runs.
  • Check product quality against the sample and establish quality standards and make corrections as necessary.
  • Perform press repairs, maintenance, upkeep and cleaning.
  • Follow Press-room procedures for control sheets, charging time & material, load tags, FSC stock and samples.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of machine ability of different paper weights, sizes, kinds and colors to be able to identify paper conditions (i.e. excessive moisture or curling that frequently requires additional machine adjustment).
  • Skills in making difficult adjustments to powered machines using hand tools (i.e. wrenches, screwdrivers, punches, knives) as well as more specialized hand tools usually furnished by the machine manufacturer,
  • Maintain acceptable productivity standards while minimizing raw material waste.
  • Oral and written communication skills a must.
  • Keep work area clean and picked up.
  • Handling large amounts of paper and paper rolls, load on machines.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Warehouse experience-building pallets, etc.
