Westaff has an immediate opening for an experienced Drafter for the St Gabriel, LA area.

Temp to hire, full time position. Pay range: $19-25 DOE 

Drafter, to prepare, produce, and revise as required, fabrication drawings for shell and tube heat exchangers per requirements from the Mechanical Engineer and customer specifications, using 2D AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Essential Duties:

• Reviews job assignment with Mechanical Engineer and references documents including Quote documents, purchase orders, customer drawings, and sales orders.

• Generates scale cross section drawing and detail views to check for sub assembly placement / interferences. Prepares detailed drawings.

• Checks generated drawings against engineer notes, design calculations/sketches, customer drawings and applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications.

• Makes additions to drawings and sketches as needed to complete detail drawings and Bill of Materials. Calculate weights & center of gravity accurately.

• Calculates and specifies dimensions of parts, materials, and procedures as needed to complete detail drawings & Bill of Materials.

• Creates / completes Bill of Materials incorporating engineering notes.

• Modifies drawings as directed by the Mechanical Engineer.

• Performs electronic file maintenance of drawings, calculations, et al. Ensures support data and documentation needs of internal and external inspectors are satisfactorily fulfilled.

• Sends documents to customer for approval through Document Control as directed by the Mechanical Engineer.

• Works with the Mechanical Engineer to address customer comments.

• Verifies design package has current revisions as listed on the Document Transmittal and Shop Distribution forms and releases design package to production for procurement and fabrication as directed by the Mechanical Engineer.

• Reverse engineer components delivered to shop by creating drawings & BOM from measurements and observations taken.

• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Knowledge - Technical Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.  Show evidence of strong math skills, including geometry.

*Familiarity with ASME code Section 8, TEMA and API 660 Standards as well as applied knowledge of all aspects of NDE including x-ray, UT, PT, and dimensional checks is preferred. 

*Demonstrate knowledge of fabrication shop practices and procedures.

*Possess working knowledge of enterprise and/or database management software. 

Skills - Must be able to use drafting AutoCAD 2D and solid model SolidWorks software proficiently. Must be a self-starter, purpose-driven, possess a sense of urgency, and be results driven. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, mechanical aptitude with the ability to multi-task, and a “can-do attitude”, are a strong plus.

Qualifications:

• Required experience with Salesforce and Conga
• In-house legal or contracting department experience preferred.
• Experience within and/or knowledge of the healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare provider agreements and amendments, primarily focused on customized language/addenda.
• Review requested changes to provider agreements (standard and non-standard).
• Review of specialized and non-standard requests for provider agreements.
• Manage changes to provider agreements in coordination with providers and/or attorneys, including direct communication and negotiation with providers and/or attorneys.
• Coordinate provider pay issues with other departments.
• Assist in responding to document production requests.
• Assist Operations with provider contracting process
• Assist with provider terminations as needed and in accordance with agreement terms.
• Manage provider agreement templates and direct assistance with creation and revision of provider agreement templates for all clinical service lines.
• Assist in development and enhancement of contracting system features and functions.
• Salesforce research and provision of historical data on providers, provider agreement requests, etc. as needed by Operations, ERMD and any other department.
• Direct collaboration with Operations and Data Quality for assurance of accurate data within Salesforce platform.
• Assist with ERMD auditing, monitoring and correction of providers working without agreements and assurance that contracts are properly put in place.
• Process agreements and amendments as necessary for distribution to internal stakeholders.
• Assist with other team projects and requests.
• Attend internal and external meetings as necessary relative to drafting, tracking and reporting on status of client contracts.
• Cross-train where possible.

We are now hiring for Order Selector/Picker for a warehouse in Ascension Parish

Must be available to work Monday - Sat 6am- 4pm. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule; schedule is based on truck schedule.  ATTENDANCE IS VERY IMPORTANT!

Experience with a Hand Lift, RF Scan Gun, dolly and other warehouse equipment required.

Must be able to to lift up to 35 pounds.

• Able to work in various climates (chiller and warm warehouse).
