Pay: $ based on experience

Location: Cheshire, CT 

Hours: 7:00am to 4:30pm 

CNC Machine Operators Responsibilities: 

• Set-up and breakdown CNC equipment 
• Responsible for “in process” component inspection both visual and dimensional using specialty gages as designed for product lines in production and standard measuring tools (micrometer, caliper, optical comparator, CMM)
• Use of Q.C. tools. and micrometers
• Maintains production records and quality records.
• Performs basic machine maintenance & troubleshooting functions

CNC Machine Operators Requirements: 

• 1-3 years prior CNC Machining, or technical schooling equivalent 
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work. Substantial movements (motions) of the arms, wrists, hand and /or fingers
• Visual Sharpness (corrected) to operate machines (including visual inspection procedures).

Westaff is looking to hire multiple laborers experienced with concrete for a company in Wallingford, CT!

As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in various concrete construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Pay: $17/hr to start, temp to hire

Hours: Monday-Friday (10-12 hour days) 5am to finish & Saturdays REQUIRED as needed 6am to noon!

The responsibilities of the Laborer are:

• Assist with the preparation and setup of concrete forms
• Pour and spread concrete using various tools and equipment
• Smooth and finish surfaces using trowels, screeds, and other hand tools
• Assist with the installation of rebar and wire mesh reinforcement
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times

The requirements of the Laborer are:

• Previous experience working as a Concrete Laborer or similar role
• Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
• Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs – must wear steel toe boots
• Must be reliable and flexible to work required over time
