Quality Inspector Responsibilities

• Check dimensions and/or characteristics, locations and finishes to meet customer specifications.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Complete nonconformity and discrepancy reports on defects found at required inspection stages.
• Ensure all CMM programs are the same using best practice measuring techniques.
• Blueprint Reading and interpreting drawings to understand what is needed/ expected.

Quality Inspector Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years quality inspector 
• Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, MS office experience
• GD&T knowledge 
• Vision system familiarity
• Ability to use inspection tools such as Gauges, Micrometers, Calipers, Digital Multimeters, and Optical comparator.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with housekeeping safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements

• Perform all weighing, blending, encapsulation, capsule dedusting and packaging functions.

• Perform all cleaning operations associated with weighing, blending, encapsulation, capsule dedusting packaging line and the packaging areas.

• Follow and complete weighing, blending, encapsulation, capsule dedusting and packaging duties as described in the batch production record.

• Record all required information on the batch production record and appropriate logs.

Qualifications for Production Technician:

• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment 

• Must have the ability to be a team player; problem solve and collaborate with other employees/departments

• Must possess basic math and computer skills

Responsibilities: 

• Review work schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations, and prioritize work orders as needed.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance and general upkeep duties, as they arise.
• Assist with installations, modifications, adjustments and replacements of tools equipment and any other maintenance projects as assigned.
• Maintain warehouse, operate power equipment to sweep, wash warehouse floors, aisles, clean-up spills, remove trash and debris.
• Perform custodial duties, paint, scrape, power wash and other projects as assigned, fill and maintain the cardboard baler.
• Perform light maintenance (e.g., change light bulbs, unstop toilets, clean carpets, duct work, set-up conference rooms, etc.) as needed.
