Westaff is looking for a 2nd shift warehouse forklift operator in the Norton, MA area for Immediate Start! 

2nd shift: 5:00pm-5:00am Tuesday-Saturday, Mondays may be included 

Pay: $23/hour 

Location: Norton, MA 

The Warehouse Forklift Operator will process receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods and raw materials. This role is also responsible for staging materials for production, moving materials to and from the production floor, and maintaining an environment of safety and food safety. 

JOB DUTIES: 

• Off load all inbound freight and maintains written documentation of the transactions.

• Verify accuracy of inbound freight bills and signs for the materials.

• Stage all material needed to successfully mix, produce and package products on all manufacturing lines, ensuring that production is not interrupted for lack of materials

• Store or ship all finished goods product from designated production area

EXPERIENCE: 

• Minimum of two years’ experience in shipping, receiving required

• Experience with a forklift 

• Experience in loading & unloading trucks required

• Familiar with warehouse documentation and processing requirements required

Responsible for short cycle machine operations associated with quantity production of identical units• Start and stop the machine, load/feed the machine, and watch machines operation• Monitor production to ensure quality and perform verifications and inspection of the product and the machine• Make sure the equipment is in top operation performance by calling for repairs when needed• Maintain a safe and clean work environment• Must be able to work in a team environment• Complete the proper transactions for each MO or job• Label material with correct descriptions• Meet or exceed customer’s specifications as outlined on the manufacturing order• May have some warehouse responsibilities including shipping, receiving, and packaging material as needed• Any other general machine operation tasks or responsibilities assigned by his or her supervisorsOur wish list:• Must be eighteen years of age and possess a HS Diploma or GED• Experience and knowledge of machinery and/or tools• Excellent team player and positive work approach• Detailed oriented and quality focused• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs• Must pass the Drug Test and Background Check• Forklift and Oracle experience is a plus
