Assists in the Set-up and operation of a Slitting Machine to produce a quality product in accordance with predetermined specifications and in accordance with predetermined production schedules by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. ? Responsible for assisting the Slitter Operator in set-up, loading, adjusting, operation and unloading the slitter in a manner which will produce a quality on-time product with the utmost efficiency. ? Assists in maintaining accuracy and traceability throughout customer order. ? Assists in maintaining customer specifications throughout customer order. ? Maintains accuracy of product weighing. ? Palletizes material to customer specifications. ? Cuts up and properly identifies rework. ? Maintains proper safety and housekeeping practices at all times. ? May act as operator in his/her absence. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
