WESTAFF is seeking a Secretary Specialist for a company located in Lafayette, LA.
**This is a temporary position lasting 680 hours**
Hours: Monday- Friday (25 hours a week)
7:30am- 12:30pm
Pay: $13.57/Hour
The qualified individual will work part-time completing daily administrative tasks and quality assurance measures of the project. This individual should demonstrate solid organizational skills, attention to detail, good oral and written communication, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines under pressure. This individual should be a problem-solver, self-starter, and work collaboratively with staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily phone calls including troubleshooting with CLASS observers, verifying site level information and corresponding to Lead Agencies.
- Help check the main CLASS email account throughout the day (make schedule changes, send observation orders, correspond with observers and/or sites).
- Check-in mail (observation booklets and documentation).
- Prepare and mail observation booklets.
- Review the accuracy of data entered into the LDE’s Early Childhood Portal and cross-check with observation booklets.
- Receive and record observer billing (ensure observers enter data into EC portal, mail in booklet(s) with all information received).
- Scan and prepare observation booklets for review (data checks, appeals, etc.).
- Attend staff meetings and take notes, as needed.
- Provide support to the Project Director Early Childhood team as needed.

Westaff is looking to hire a bilingual Bank Teller for a company located in Meriden, CT!
This role serves as the face of our credit union, assisting members with their financial transactions, answering inquiries, and promoting our products and services. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:15am-5:15pm
Overtime: Saturdays 8:30-12:15pm
Pay: $18- $20 an hour, depending on experience
Teller Responsibilities:
- Provide account services such as processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, and money orders.
- Accurately handle and balance cash drawers and transactions daily.
- Respond to member inquiries in person and over the phone; refer members to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Cross-sell and promote credit union products and services; participate in sales and referral incentive programs.
- Label and handle coin and currency bags; assist with servicing coin machines.
- Detect and report potential fraudulent activity or suspicious transactions.
- Maintain organized and secure teller stations.
- Assist with daily branch opening and closing procedures.
- Adhere to all credit union policies, procedures, and Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
Teller Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash and member transactions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Prior teller or cash-handling experience preferred.
