We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Punch & Press Brake Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll independently form complex 3D components from flat sheet metal, producing high-quality parts used in our commercial oven product lines. Key Responsibilities
•     Operate CNC press brakes and punch equipment following established procedures and safety standards.
•     Set up machines by installing, aligning, and securing punches and dies using precision gauges, templates, and hand tools.
•     Load, verify, and adjust programs to achieve accurate dimensions, angles, and part quality.
•     Form parts to blueprint specifications, including interpreting complex drawings and GD&T.
•     Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, protractors, and other precision tools.
•     Troubleshoot minor tooling or material issues to maintain efficient production flow.
•     Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure machine reliability and longevity.

Qualifications
•     Experience operating CNC press brakes, punch presses, or similar metal-forming equipment.
•     Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, including GD&T.

Job Overview:

Centralized Intake (CI) is a child abuse and neglect hotline staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure that allegations of child abuse and neglect received are accurately assessed to ensure the safety of children. The hotline serves as the central reporting for all allegations of child abuse or neglect in Montana.

 

Responsibilities of this position include:

1) Gathers information from callers to determine whether statutory criteria for investigation are present;

2) Assigns priority response time and routes applicable reports directly to local offices to ensure identified safety threats are responded to in a timely manner to ensure child safety; and

3) Checks and verifies information from multiple data sources to determine additional requirements; including escalated safety factors of the alleged victim and field staff. 

 

Qualifications:

Required for the first day of work:

  • Knowledge of social work practices and principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and stressful situations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete the essential functions, including using spreadsheet, word processing, database, email, internet and other computer programs.

 Education: 

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related human services field.
  • One year of human services experience working with children and families.
  • Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis; however, a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A six-month completed internship with Child Protective Services will be accepted in lieu of the one year required experience.

 

Major Duties or Responsibilities

Conducts Initial Assessment of Allegations to Ensure Child Safety                                                                                         

  • Receives phone calls from mandatory and non-mandatory reporters of child abuse and neglect and follows an information gathering protocol to obtain sufficient information from the reporter.
  • Gathers information from callers to determine whether statutory criteria for investigation are present.
  • Assesses the call report and determines if the referral information warrants immediate or further investigation by field social workers and/or law enforcement intervention in accordance with statutes and the division’s safety practice model.  
  • Assigns priority response time and routes applicable reports directly to local offices to ensure identified safety threats are responded to in a timely manner to ensure child safety.
  • Prioritizes and assigns referrals for field investigation; notifies management and field social worker of critical information and ensures an immediate response when necessary. 
  • Completes CI Intake Assessment form and required documentation in CAPS and Doc Gen in accordance with policy and procedure to accurately document the information in the report received.
  • Contacts law enforcement as necessary for investigation of reports the division does not have authority to investigate and for welfare checks on children whose safety may be of concern; and enters reports from law enforcement when child safety issues are identified.
  • Responds to requests for emergency provision of legal consent to treat children in protective custody, runaways, and foster parents requesting assistance.
  • Serves as a central point of contact for the public and others seeking information to which they are legally entitled in regards to children in protective custody. 

 

Field Support Services                                                                                                                            

  • Performs background checks to assess prior child protective reports to assess current child safety or risk of harm to assist investigative worker in the field.
  • Obtains critical child protection or criminal history from other states when necessary to allow for accurate report determinations.
  • Checks and verifies information from multiple data sources to determine additional requirements; including escalated safety factors of the alleged victim and field staff.
  • Performs check of Violent and Sexual Offender Registry where need is indicated; and determine safety issues and alerts field worker of issues which may create a dangerous situation when responding to the call.
  • Testifies at hearings and in court when required regarding actions and responses to referrals.

 

Data/Reports                                                                                                                                   

  •   Records daily activity regarding types of calls received and other performance tasks.
  •   Prepares monthly unit activity reports as requested by supervisor.
  •   Provides support and assistance to field social workers by engaging in continuous quality improvement processes with supervisors to ensure that Centralized Intake is delivering appropriate information to field social workers to ensure the safety of children, families, and workers.

Primary Responsibilities of the Toolmaker/Machinist:

Working independently, will perform a wide variety of tasks requiring a high degree of skill. Those tasks will include but are not limited to, design and fabrication of trim dies, working from prints to machine tight tolerance tooling, repair/maintenance of existing tools, assist with equipment and tool fabrication/upgrades as needed.

 

Normal Duties of the Toolmaker/Machinist:

  • Following safe work practices, perform tight tolerance machining of tools using typical toolroom equipment such as lathes, mills (manual and CNC) and surface grinders.
  • Must be capable working with solid models and of programming CNC machine centers.
  • Must be able to read prints and sketches, understand tolerances and their affects on machining parts.
  • Should be familiar with metallurgy; be able to assist in recommendations for tooling materials.
  • Must be familiar with secondary finishing operations such as heat treating and tempering and their affects on parts so as to take those operations into consideration when fabricating tooling.
  • Maintain associated paperwork to support ISO/TS-16949 initiative.
  • Maintain reasonable stocks of tool steels and die sets to support business activities.
  • Work with Engineering to design and develop tooling and equipment upgrades to reduce costs, improve productivity or part manufacturability.
  • May be required to work with outside vendors and contractors.Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Normal Working Conditions of the Toolmaker/Machinist:

  • Will be exposed to oils, coolants, greases, maintenance and production chemicals.
  • High temperatures, tight working spaces and time restraints will not be unusual.
  • May be required to assist with equipment installations and upgrades.

 

Required Skills, Education and Experience for the Toolmaker/Machinist:

  • Must have significant, demonstratable knowledge of toolmaking, machining and tool design.
  • This knowledge will include but not be limited to the safe operation of, lathes, mills, surface grinders both manual and CNC versions thereof.

 

Ideal candidates for the Toolmaker/Machinist should have a combination of education and experience as follows:

Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program and 3-5 years increasing experience in tool fabrication, or 2 year degree or certificate in tooling/machining from a recognized education organization and 5-7 years increasing experience or 8-10 years increasing experience in a toolroom environment.

This full-time role supports daily quality operations in a commercial heat-treating environment. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Quality Assurance Technician Responsibilities

  • Identify and distinguish customer parts accurately throughout all stages of processing.

  • Prepare samples and operate hardness testing equipment, including Rockwell and micro hardness testers, as well as perform micro structure evaluations.

  • Conduct routine quality tests such as dew point checks, system accuracy tests, and temperature uniformity surveys.

  • Learn and follow the company’s quality management system, including ISO 9001:2015, CQI-9, and AMS 2750 standards.

  • Participate in internal quality audits and support continuous improvement efforts.

  • Maintain proper part identification and organization to prevent mixing or loss of traceability.

  • Perform non conformance investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action documentation in a timely manner.

  • Sample parts during assembly to confirm they meet customer requirements.

  • Maintain a clean, organized lab environment and ensure all parts are properly labeled.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Quality Assurance Technician Minimum Requirements

  • At least three months of work experience, preferably in manufacturing.

  • Strong communication skills for interacting with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.

  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, customer orders, and technical drawings.

  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Attendance at job-related training sessions as required.

Reporting to the Director of Membership & Annual Giving, this role supports solely Membership and Annual Giving initiatives. For Membership, the Coordinator will be responsible for aspects of the database, gift transactions and reporting in the strategic development and execution of Membership and Annual Giving Programs. This role oversees the day to day gift entry, list creation and generation, transactional web pages, membership and annual giving progress reporting, and customer service needs. Under the direction of the Director of Membership and Annual Giving, this role works closely with the Development Operations, Stewardship and Events teams. Serves as the primary support for the museum’s annual leadership giving program, East India Marine Associates.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily processing and data entry of Membership and Annual Fund gifts, including overseeing the fulfillment of membership materials, and monitoring inventory of program collateral
  • Generate Membership, out of Tessitura for solicitations, email communication, renewals, and emails
  • Liaise with Guest Services and other staff on Tessitura related membership and ticketing training
  • Assist the Development team in preparing for Membership events including list builds and ticket purchase process from start to finish
  • Serve as fiscal year end support for the Development Operations team; assisting with reporting and list pulls for all development areas
  • Implement annual Direct Mail Program, including letter development, data management and e-solicitations. Serve as primary contact to vendors as needed. Monitor status and progress including analysis and report preparation as required
  • Support the giving officer(s) managing the program and daily details including the solicitation and stewardship of current and potential donors, data management, membership fulfillment and acknowledgment
  • This includes managing annual donor listings, select stewardship reports and other tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor’s degree required, and a background with art and art history preferred.
