Company specializes in creating custom wood packaging solutions, including pallets, crates, skids, and boxes, with over 95 years of industry experience. They serve both domestic and international clients, focusing on the Northeast region, particularly Greater Springfield, MA, and Greater Hartford, CT. 

Machine Operator Main Duties

• Run pallet nailing machines, band saws, and chop saws safely.
• Cut wood parts to the correct size for pallets and skids.
• Feed raw lumber into automated or manual assembly lines.
• Check finished pallets for correct size and strength.
• Keep the work area clean and free of wood scrap and sawdust.
• Report any machine problems to the supervisor right away.

Machine Operator Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Past experience in a warehouse, factory, or wood shop.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Comfort standing for long shifts in a loud workspace.
• Basic math skills to read tape measures and blueprints.
