Job Description:

Receives, stores, and distributes material and products while maintaining a clean, organized, secure, and safe Warehouse area.

Responsibilities:

• Operates Forklift (sit down)to move inventory and pallets to designated area.
• Receive and log incoming materials per packing list. Label all materials with the appropriate
• Product Identification Label. Store material in companies inventory per special storage conditions.
• Fill out all material and production order pick lists.
• Kitting (packaging) production orders in a timely and organized manner to support the manufacturing schedule.
• Conduct cycle counts as required;
• Material Handler – Transport materials from the warehouse and production floor.
• Distribute materials to the specific production areas where they are used.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Have one year or more of related work experience in manufacturing/production
• Sit down forklift certified and validated 
• Must be fully bilingual – English and Spanish.
• Basic Computer skills for inventory and receiving material updates.

Responsible for accurate picking and loading out of orders. Must be able to work the shift pattern as required by customer needs which could include overtime.

Responsibilities:

Ensures that the correct number and type of product is picked. Transports orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment. Stencils, tags or marks orders as required.
Compares quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct. Accepts signatures for outbound as necessary. Efficiently moves product into outbound delivery vehicles.
Maintains equipment and assigned areas in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. Operates equipment safely and efficiently. Complies with all local, OSHA or standards.
Keeps accurate records and reports. Assists in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensures proper stock rotation. Keeps all racking locations clean, free of debris, and stacks freight safely and per all OSHA standards
Repacks or re-boxes cases per customer instructions. Repairs and re-boxes damaged goods as required. Operates shrink-wrap machine if assigned.
Can utilize RF scanning gun or basic warehouse and shipping software.
Qualifications:

Education (preferred level) high school degree.
Experience (minimum level of direct experience in a similar position) 12 months or more.
Knowledge/ Skills: Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, divide, multiply) and write legibly.
Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
MUST have Forklift experience with cherry picker and turret truck.

Primary Responsibilities:

Working independently, will perform a wide variety of tasks requiring a high degree of skill. Those tasks will include but are not limited to, design and fabrication of trim dies, working from prints to machine tight tolerance tooling, repair/maintenance of existing tools, assist with equipment and tool fabrication/upgrades as needed.

Normal Duties:

Following safe work practices, perform tight tolerance machining of tools using typical toolroom equipment such as lathes, mills (manual and CNC) and surface grinders.

Must be capable working with solid models and of programming CNC machine centers.

Must be able to read prints and sketches, understand tolerances and their affects on machining parts.

Should be familiar with metallurgy; be able to assist in recommendations for tooling materials.

Must be familiar with secondary finishing operations such as heat treating and tempering and their affects on parts so as to take those operations into consideration when fabricating tooling.

Maintain associated paperwork to support ISO/TS-16949 initiative.

Maintain reasonable stocks of tool steels and die sets to support business activities.

Work with Engineering to design and develop tooling and equipment upgrades to reduce costs, improve productivity or part manufacturability.

May be required to work with outside vendors and contractors.

Other duties as assigned.

Normal Working Conditions:

Will be exposed to oils, coolants, greases, maintenance and production chemicals. High temperatures, tight working spaces and time restraints will not be unusual.

May be required to assist with equipment installations and upgrades.

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

Must have significant, demonstratable knowledge of toolmaking, machining and tool design. This knowledge will include but not be limited to the safe operation of, lathes, mills, surface grinders both manual and CNC versions thereof.

Should have a combination of education and experience as follows:

Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program and 3-5 years increasing experience in tool fabrication, or 2 year degree or certificate in tooling/machining from a recognized education organization and 5-7 years increasing experience or 8-10 years increasing experience in a toolroom environment.
