Carter County is seeking a Senior Services Food Assistance & Transit Coordinator in Ekalaka, Montana!

Term: Temporary

Schedule: Part-time, 16 hours per week

Pay: $18/hour

 

What You’ll Do:
  • Coordinate senior and transportation services.
  • Assist with the Carter County Food Bank and Commodity Supplemental Food Program.
  • Maintain required records, reports, budgets, grants, and program information.
  • Help seniors connect with services and complete benefit applications.
  • Coordinate with community partners, agencies, boards, and service providers.
  • Support program staff, scheduling, deliveries, and outreach.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience.

  • Valid Montana driver’s license.

  • Strong communication, organization, and basic computer skills.

  • Ability to work well with seniors and the public.

  • Ability to lift and move case goods up to 50 pounds.

  • Flexibility for meetings, deliveries, and program activities.

  • Experience with seniors, community programs, grants, budgeting, food assistance, or transportation preferred.
