• Selects, positions and secures tool in toolholder (chuck, collet, or toolpost).  Positions and secures workpiece in holding device, machine table, chuck, between centers, or in fixtures.
• Moves controls to position tool and workpiece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.
• Sets up fixture or feeding device, starts machine, and turns handwheel to feed tool to workpiece or vice versa, and engages feed.
• Turns valve handle to direct flow of coolant or cutting oil against tool and workpiece.
• Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.
• Operates bench grinder to sharpen tools.

MACHINIST REQUIREMENTS: 

• Previous setting in a machine shop 
• 3-6 years experience as a Machinist on multiple machines such as milling machines, lathes, and boring machines. 
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job 
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean work station

Warehouse Order Selector Responsibilities:

• Select damage-free product to build pallets neatly and accurately with appropriate product according to customer specifications
• Role is physically demanding, requiring continuous, fast-paced work that involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Use a headset selection system to follow directions and accurately select damage-free products from warehouse slots
• Stack cases onto pallets (up to 6 feet high) according to customer specifications, ensuring labels face out and arrows face up
• Verify product against pick tickets and case label and turn in complete, legible, accurate paperwork
• Check condition of pallets and exchange where necessary
• Assist in ensuring pallets are wrapped and stacked for safe transport

Warehouse Order Selector Requirements:

• Must work in cold storage warehouse
• Must be able to withstand the physical demands of the role, standing, lifting, and walking throughout the shift
• Experience with incentive-based selecting
• Experience operating Electric Pallet Jack and HI-LO PIT operations
• Previous experience in a warehouse or order selecting setting
• Ability to utilize material handling equipment

Packer Responsibilities: 

• Takes cartons from conveyors and unitizes them correctly.
• Runs cartons makeup area, including the carton erectors and sends the cartons to the correct location in the plant.
• Operates the wrappers.
• Drive a clamp to wrap and put away units and supply bottles to the plant.
• Fill in when other warehouse employees are out.
• Know the oracle procedure for transferring and producing units and looking up inventory using the handheld bar code scanner.
