Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

· Operating production machinery to include HMI screens, conveyors and punching/forming equipment

· Pull CNC files from network equipment.

· Servicing and maintaining machinery on the production floor

· Oversee the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of sheet metal processing equipment & systems including Prima Power Shear Brilliance punch and Express Bender

· Diagnose and repair mechanical issues and troubleshoot/correct system material flow issues

· Loading and unloading of metal coils and other materials as needed

· Manage and maintain tooling set up

· Set up and verify functionality of safety equipment

· Ensure efficient workflow of the machine

· Understand and integrate equipment parameters

· Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

· Identify production quality issues and take appropriate corrective action as needed and implement preventative measures

· Achieve required efficiency and output on automated lines.

Westaff is currently seeking a press brake operator to work with the manufacturing and production team to ensure our products are designed, built and delivered right every time.

The ideal candidate will be a team player and have excellent mechanical aptitude. Job duties will include, but not limited to, reading of blueprints, use of various hand tools, and ability to do mathematical computations and measurements. Opportunities for cross training in other departments.

Works under immediate supervision. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Position Type: Full-time position – Monday through Friday

Requirements:
· Ability to operate the Brake machine efficiently.

· Set each job up based on work order instructions and job prints.

· Pull tooling and prepare setup for each job.

· Do first piece Inspection.

· Work in an efficient and timely manner, multitasking where necessary.

· Get materials required and perform setup for next job.

· Identify areas for process improvement, cost and waste reduction.

· Ability to read work order instructions and carry out directions as necessary.

· Ability to work in a fast paced, large non-temperature controlled manufacturing environment.

· Ability to lift 30 – 50 Lbs. with the assistance of another employee or using a cart.

Set Up Machine Operators Needed!

Looking for machine operators that have done set up or would like to learn.

You will be doing the set up for the hydraulic presses and mold machines that use metal plates of various sizes depending on the end product needed. Must be willing to run a safe sand plaster to clean metal plates off in between jobs as needed. You can be trained to do this job if you have a desire to learn.

We need consistent attendance and a desire to grow your skills.

You will need to be able to stand for the whole shift.

Previous Machine Operator experience a PLUS! MUST be able to read work orders in English. Could be some heavy lifting of the metal plates but carts are provided to move the plates to/from the machine area!

Shift: 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday 10:30pm-7:30am

Payrate: $19.50 during training, $21.50 after training

Westaff is looking for a Mold Machine Technician in the Gardner MA area for Immediate Start!

1st Shift: 6:45am-3pm

Pay $24-28/hr DOE

Location: Gardner, MA

The Mold Technician is responsible for ensuring day-to-day functionality of the production machinery. They will monitor and operate machines to analyze results to ensure they meet company standards. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting problems and performing repairs on all production equipment and other supporting equipment, such as grinders, etc.

Job Duties:

Knowledge in various types of Plastics Machinery and Related Support Equipment.
· Make necessary adjustments to machines and auxiliary equipment.

Must be able to use the correct measures to return machines and equipment to their manufacturing operational condition within a reasonable amount of time. This includes being able to troubleshoot and repair from OEM schematics.
Knowledge on Specialized Equipment (i.e.) Robotics, Molding Machines and Programming.
Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve injection end problems.
Responsible for system monitoring, debugging and troubleshooting operational problems, making repairs and performing preventive maintenance activities.
