Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Performs facility-related duties and record keeping as required.
- Installs and repairs of leaking pipes, clogged pipes and air lines, etc., as well as electrical and lighting fixtures.
- Performs light welding and carpentry duties.
- Performs seasonal duties regarding grounds keeping, including snow removal.
- Maintains and installs facility-related equipment, such as compressors, tower water systems, heating and A/C system, elevators, lifts, exhaust fan units.
- Maintains and installs production-related equipment, such as tow motors, grinders, dust collectors, stretch wrap machines, gantries, trolleys, and hoists.
- Maintains company vehicles.
- Carries beeper for 24-hour access in case of emergency maintenance of air compressors, boiler, and furnace; on-call for seven-day period on a six-week rotating basis; may have to work a holiday if down time provided; must be able to work occasional overtime.
- Must maintain regular and consistent attendance.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight years of related experience and/or training.
- Certificates in welding, boiler repair, electronics, auto repair, and related fields a plus.
- Must possess and maintain a CT driver’s license.
- Ability to communicate one-on-one and in groups, complete task sheets, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ability to understand instructions and troubleshoot problems.
- Ability to work independently from blueprints, work orders, and schematics.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Knowledge of auto mechanics. Ability to operate a plow truck. Ability to perform occasional work from ladders at heights above 10′.
- Ability to use electronic testing equipment and meters.
- Computer experience is a plus.

Machinist Responsibilities:

- Mathematical: Ability to work with mathematical fundamentals of shop math, including geometry and trigonometry.
- Technical: Understanding of how thermoformed (sheet) plastic is formed.
- Machinist with a minimum of five years of experience in machine shop with the ability to demonstrate proficiency in the setup and operation of all shop machine tools, inspection equipment and methods, and tool repair procedures.

Position Overview:
Machine Operator position is primarily responsible for ensuring the machine is operational and functioning effectively, efficiently, safely and the product meets quality expectations. In addition, the Machine Operator position provides training, leadership and support to employees working on the production line.
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Functions as the leader on the production line.
- Partners with leads, mechanics and other production employees to address production issues and implement solutions.
- Loads and unloads material rolls from machines, verifies and sets machine settings per the sheet settings in a safe manner.
- Manages proper and timely starts/stops/restarts for machine, removes scrap and rewind.
- Assists with machine set up.
- Performs general production activities to ensure efficient production of high-quality product.
- Operates thermoforming, automation, and auxiliary equipment (i.e., case tapers, grinders, stackers).
- Inspects finished or in-process products against company standards and specifications for irregularities or reject.
- Ensures compliance with regards to line clearance, raw materials, in-process inspection, manufacturing, and housekeeping.
- Conducts basic preventative maintenance, cavity changes and other technical duties.
- Troubleshoots machine for quality issues.
- Maintains documentation and performs administrative tasks relevant to plant operations.
- Collaborates with shift supervision to understand and develop training needs, structure, and individual progress for assigned shift.
- Ensures work area is maintained in order and is free of unused items, carts, machinery not in use to mitigate safety hazards and maintain good housekeeping practices.
Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment or similar relevant experience.
- Qualify to operate various lift trucks used in production and in the warehouse.
- Strong Interpersonal skills, facilitation, and communication skill, both verbal and written
- Critical thinking skills, problem resolution, strong decision-making ability to self-perform, and make decisions regarding the sequence of set-ups, operations, and processes, including minor modification or pre-programmed computer routines within limits of recognized standard methods and procedures.
- Strong proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Access), experience in data acquisition preferred.
- Read micrometers and calipers, digital force gauge, protractors, pressure gauges, temperature thermocouples.

Material Handler is responsible for moving raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift. This position may also use cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately pick, process, and pack customer orders.
- Stock incoming product and supplies according to inventory plans.
- Verify items loaded and unloaded against documentation.
- Complete cycle counts and other basic inventory tasks.
- Identify and separate defective materials.
- Maintain accurate paperwork when required.
- Perform general warehouse cleanup.
- Inspect forklift at the start of each shift and report any issues.
