• Various Machine Operations such as: Harperizer, Blaster, Ink Jet, Ink Stamp, Die-Cut, Priming, and High-Temp ovens
• Operate molding machinery 
• Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Identify issues and bring them to management’s attention.
• Assist other staff with all duties when assistance is needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable state or federal laws.
• Participate in all required internal training.
• Performs other work as assigned within the department or in other departments as workload determines.

The Machine Operator requirements are:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment 
• Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment such as calipers and snap gauges
• Basic computer skills required
• Physical stamina and strength
• Must be able to stand for 10 hours
• Must be able to occasionally pick up 50lb boxes

1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Job Summary:

Uses machines and equipment to assist with manufacturing, while performing specialized tasks to create and produce a standard or customized product.

Major Job Responsibilities include:

* Performs typical machine shop and press operations
* Operates a press production, braid winding, lathe or crimping machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
* Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing drawings, bills of material or other written instructions or procedures.
* Accurately record number of parts produced both good and scrap
* Utilize hand tools such as a hand held screw driver and drill guns
* Maintain inventory of product in work stations
* Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
* Identify product defects and report it
* Operate functional area equipment in a safe and efficient manner
* Maintain safety, quality, productivity and housekeeping standards as required
* Maintain accurate and timely data
* Report any safety problems, hazards, accidents and near misses to management
* Adjust machine settings as necessary to complete assigned task
* Properly use safety equipment, including machine guarding, interlocks and safety curtains are working properly or report it
* Able to troubleshoot and resolve simple quality product issues
* Meet standards and tolerances
* Other job tasks as assigned by Supervisor
