Die Set-Up Associate needed for Manufacturing Company in Meriden, CT 

Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay: $30-40/hr based on experience 

The Die Set Up Associate will be Responsible For:

• Retrieves tooling from storage
• Responsible for placing the dies in proper die sets per routing sheet.
• Ensures correct alignment between punch and die
• Disassembles tooling for completed jobs and correctly returns tooling to storage
• Polishing and grinding dies with hand grinder/other tools
• Troubleshoot basic repairs for common die issues: flash, punches, broken knock out pins etc.
• Modify dies to engineering changes
• Work with blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions
• Other duties as assigned by management

Production Technician is Needed with a reputable client in Middletown,CT

Established company specializing in the production  in requires a level II Manufacturing Technician with experience in electronics assembly, testing, and repair.

Pay: $22 per hour

Hours: 2nd shift, M-F

The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for: 

• Troubleshooting, integration, testing and repair of company systems, in keeping with all Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures.

• Mechanical assembly of final products (i.e. wiring, soldering, hardware)
• Evaluating products for quality standards (i.e. workmanship, soldering and cosmetic appearance)
• Identifying components and reading blueprints
• Utilizing SAP and Sharepoint Software
• Calibrating production inspection equipment, as needed, using calibration procedure, as applicable

The Manufacturing Technician requirements are:

• Ability to use standard assembly tools
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Safely handle hazardous materials 

• At least one year post-high school education in electronics, electrical engineering, or similar discipline, OR 3 year’s electronics related experience
• 5-7 years related experience

• Ability to follow written and verbal procedures, instructions, diagrams, and drawings
