Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Welder Trainee to join our fabrication team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in learning welding techniques while working in a hands-on manufacturing environment under the guidance of experienced welders. Key Responsibilities Assist experienced welders with daily production tasks Learn and perform basic welding techniques (MIG/TIG as applicable) Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting metal parts Read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines Inspect work for quality under supervision Maintain a clean and organized work area Properly use tools, equipment, and required PPE Follow all company safety policies and procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Welding school coursework or certification a plus but not required Willingness to learn and take direction Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Strong attention to safety and quality Ability to stand for long periods and lift required weight Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Work Environment Manufacturing or fabrication shop setting Exposure to heat, noise, sparks, and metal materials
