Westaff Hiring On-Call Warehouse General Laborers in Waterbury, CT!
Location: Waterbury
Schedule: On-Call, as needed! | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18/hr
We are seeking reliable, motivated individuals to join our on-call warehouse team in Waterbury. This role is physically demanding and requires consistent teamwork, safe lifting practices, and the ability to stay productive throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:

Move large boxed items and components throughout the warehouse

Load and unload trucks and shipping containers

Assist with palletizing, wrapping, and preparing shipments

Follow all lifting, safety, and warehouse procedures
-
Work in a buddy-lift system at all times — all heavy items are lifted by two people
Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift

Boxes are large, rectangular, and awkward, not compact
-
Must be able to lift and walk/maneuver while carrying

Comfortable standing and moving for long periods

Strong teamwork mindset — all tasks are done with a partner

Ability to work in a colder warehouse environment
Additional Details:

Must wear steel-toe boots

Warehouse provides safety vests only — bring your own warm layers
