Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Industrial Solar Finisher to prepare, finish, and inspect solar components used in industrial and utility-scale solar applications. This role is responsible for grinding, polishing, coating, and finishing metal or composite parts to meet quality, durability, and appearance standards required for solar energy systems. Key Responsibilities Grind, deburr, sand, polish, and finish solar components and structural parts Prepare surfaces for coating, painting, or protective treatments Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards Read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures Use hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently Identify defects or surface issues and perform corrective finishing as required Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all workplace safety, environmental, and quality requirements Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Previous experience in industrial finishing, metal fabrication, or manufacturing preferred Ability to read basic drawings, specifications, and work instructions Familiarity with finishing tools and measuring equipment Basic math skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience working with solar components or renewable energy products Knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, or corrosion-resistant finishes Experience working in a high-volume or industrial manufacturing environment Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and quality Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Ability to work independently or as part of a team Good time management and reliability Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in an industrial environment with noise, dust, and protective equipment
