Industrial Solar Finisher – Job Description Position Summary: The Industrial Solar Finisher is responsible for performing the final preparation, finishing, inspection, and quality assurance tasks on solar panels, solar components, or industrial-scale solar systems. This role ensures products meet technical, visual, and performance standards before installation or shipment. The position requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and adherence to safety and production guidelines. Key Responsibilities Perform final finishing work on solar panels, racking components, frames, and other solar equipment. Inspect parts and assemblies for defects, alignment, damage, or quality issues. Apply sealants, coatings, adhesives, and protective finishes according to specifications. Clean and prepare surfaces using tools such as buffers, sanders, wipes, and solvents. Assist with final assembly tasks, including attaching hardware, tightening fasteners, and verifying electrical/wiring components (if applicable). Read and follow work instructions, production sheets, and technical specifications. Stage, sort, and prepare materials to support efficient workflow. Document inspections, defects, or rework in production logs or digital systems. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Follow all safety requirements, including PPE use and handling of chemicals or tools. Collaborate with production leads, quality teams, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations.
