Production Assembler – Job Description Summary The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling components, parts, or products on the production line according to specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assembly & Production Assemble parts, components, or products using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment. Follow work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Complete repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency. Monitor production processes and report any issues or defects immediately. Quality Control Inspect parts and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and proper function. Perform in-process checks using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, tape measures, etc.). Document production and inspection results according to company requirements. Identify and communicate deviations from specifications. Equipment & Tools Operate basic production machinery safely and efficiently. Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition. Report malfunctioning tools or equipment to supervisors. Safety & Compliance Follow all workplace safety guidelines and wear required PPE. Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe production environment. Comply with company policies, OSHA standards, and quality procedures. Teamwork & Communication Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals. Communicate issues, shortages, or delays to supervisors. Cross-train on multiple stations or tasks when needed.
